What do you plan to do this semester?

So what all meetings or activities do you plan on doing this semester?
I know that we are currently working on having:
- An Etiquette Dinner (HOPEFULLY WITH AUBURN!!!! WOHOO)
- Live Oak- Live Night at a local establishment "Business is Fun"
- Jana Davidson from AVMA GHLIT- we looove Jana and love to have her stop by
- Speed Networking with local Veterinarians
This fall we will start off the year again with TUSVM VLE. We are very excited about this event and would love to have any of you guys in the area come join us.

These ideas sound awesome! The "Business is Fun" night sounds like a blast and it's awesome that you guys are making use of your local vets and all they know.
The officers here at Virginia Tech are taking advantage of an in-house veterinarian who also has a ton of experience working at our university's career center. She's helping fourth years especially figure out what to do about their resumes and interviewing for positions. This was a seminar series where we didn't even provide food and are still getting great turn-out.
They're also working with SCAVMA to do a joint meeting on contract negotiation, helping with business CE at our local VMA meeting, and trying to set up a lunch webinar with Webster. All that's just in the first half of the semester.
I'm really excited to see how everything turns out :)
