The Veterinary Business Management Association (VBMA) relies heavily on the initiative, determination, and ingenuity of veterinary students seeking to better their careers and our profession. The accomplishments of this organization have largely come from small groups of students working as a team to better the veterinary profession and to address the current issues and concerns that they face as they prepare for the future. The VBMA is dedicated to fostering this entrepreneurial spirit, to giving students the independence to guide their own chapters, and to providing students with opportunities to utilize the skills they are acquiring to gain real-life business experience. As a result, our chapters frequently produce programs and events that astound.
While VBMA chapters across the country have shown that they are quite capable of working with a great deal of independence. The National VBMA seeks only to support chapters. One of the ways it accomplishes this is through membership benefits provided by the National VBMA.
